At HWM we are heavily involved in the removal, remediation and recycling of contaminated soils at our Soil Treatment Facility in Hampshire. For clients needing to dispose of contaminated material, as opposed to sending waste directly to landfill, we are ideally situated within a short distance of Junction 5 on the M3.
Through extensive investment of both time and money, we have carried out considerable improvement and expansion works at our facility and have the benefit of cutting-edge treatment technology which enables us to recycle the materials produced by the cleaning processes. These materials are then re-used within the construction industry sector.
There is no landfill tax charged on any of the waste coming in to our facility.
Our Soil Treatment Facility can accept more than 70,000 tonnes per annum of contaminated soil including material that is impacted by hydrocarbons and heavy metals, oil spills, or kerosene and diesel contamination. We employ a team of experienced and competent staff to oversee the scientific, advisory, operational, administrative and environmental compliance elements of the business. Working towards our ISO9001 and ISO14001 we offer a fully traceable service complete with waste reports for our clients. From the start of a project where a client will issue us with an SIR (Site Investigation Report) to the point of removing and tipping the contaminated material at our soil treatment facility, we offer a professional and timely service.
